Following its investment strategy, the Group will conduct a 2D seismic analysis of more than 500 running kilometers and a 3D seismic analysis of 1500 sq. km within the next two years

The International Energy Group Burisma has completed geophysical works on Zhuravlyna field in the Kharkiv region. According to the Group CEO Taras Burdeynyi, for 6 months of 2018 the Group carried out 3D seismic works on a 176 km area based on contracts for cross exploration, processing and data analysis with a number of foreign companies.

“Burisma Group is a domestic leader in geophysical technical and operations expertise. By the end of the year, we are planning to perform seismic works on a total area of more than 400 sq. km. Today, we are focused on optimizing production volumes and increasing exploration efficiency to ensure stable growth in short and long term perspectives. Therefore, the Group allots huge funds to research, exploration and developing new areas,” says Taras Burdeinyi.

All field operations were carried out using latest US seismic exploration equipment ARAM. Following its investment strategy, the Group will conduct a 2D seismic analysis of more than 500 running kilometers and a 3D seismic analysis of 1500 sq. km within the next two years.

As Taras Burdeynyi pointed out, in July the entire seismic fleet would be moving to the eastern part of the Rokytnyanske field for additional exploration.
